Assassination Attempt on Slovak Prime Minister Robert Fico
Slovak Prime Minister Robert Fico is in the hospital after being shot in Bratislava. He is expected to survive.  Police have arrested a suspect, who fired a gun five times before being subdued.  The attack is believed to be politically motivated.  World leaders, including US President Joe Biden and Russian President Vladimir Putin, have condemned the attack.  Pray for healing.

8 Killed in Crash in Florida
Eight people were killed and dozens of others injured, after a car sideswiped a bus carrying dozens of farm workers.  It has since been revealed that he smoked cannabis oil and took a prescription medication before going to bed the night before.  Pray for the families of the deceased.  Pray for healing for the injured.  Pray for all affected.

33 Killed in Building Collapse in South Africa
At least 33 individuals have died after a building collapsed in George, South Africa.  At least 19 others remain missing.  Many of those killed have not yet been identified.  An investigation is ongoing to determine the cause of the collapse.  Pray for the families of the deceased.  Pray for the missing.  Pray for safety for the rescue workers.

11 Killed in Mexico
At least 11 individuals have been killed during clashes between rival cartels in Chiapas in southern Mexico.  Reports indicate that two nuns and a teenager were among those killed.  Allegedly, the two cartels were fighting for control of the area.  Both cartels are known for extorting migrants attempting to make their way north.  Pray for the families of the deceased.  Pray for healing for the injured.  Pray for all affected.  Pray for peace.

Barge Collides with Bridge in Galveston, Texas
A barge that collided with a bridge in Galveston, Texas, is now leaking oil.  The collision also closed the only road to nearby Pelican Island, as the bridge has partially collapsed.  No one was injured in the accident.  Pray for safety during clean-up.

More Rain in Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil
The Brazilian state of Rio Grande do Sul is facing more flooding after additional heavy rainfall. Over 500,000 people have been displaced from their homes and 147 individuals are confirmed to have died in the flooding.  An undetermined number of people remain missing.  Flooding in Rio Grande do Sul can also lead to flooding downriver.  Pray for the families of the deceased.  Pray for the safety of the rescue workers and the missing.  Pray for all affected.
