Five women and one male were killed during a stabbing spree at a mall in Sydney, Australia. The stabbing spree, which targeted women, also resulted in several injuries, including that of a baby girl. Drought in Bogota, Colombia
As reservoirs reach their lowest point in decades, the government has issued a water rationing plan for Bogota, the capital of Colombia and home to about 10 million residents. Once every nine days, one of the nine city zones will have their water shut off for 24 hours, with hospitals and schools being exempt. A lack of rain has severely depleted the water reserves. Iran Attacks Israel
As Israel continues its war in Gaza, Iran launched over 300 drones and missiles from within Iran’s borders and from Iraq, Syria, and Yemen. Israel claims that 99 percent of the projectiles were stopped before reaching Israel, with the help of the United States, the United Kingdom, and Jordan. At this time, it is uncertain how Israel will respond. Pray for all affected. Pray for peace.

France Prepares for the Opening Ceremony of the 2024 Olympics
The opening ceremony of the 2024 Olympic Games is scheduled for July 26, 2024. Current plans are to have the opening ceremony on the River Seine, which would be the first time the opening ceremony is held outside a stadium. The plans involve having the athletes float down the Seine on barges, while 300,000 spectators line the river. All spectators must be invited due to security concerns, especially as the Islamic State terrorist group increases attacks. Pray for the safety of spectators and participants.

100 Killed Along Coast of Mozambique
Over 100 people died when the boat they were traveling on sank off the northern coast of Mozambique. The boat was a fishing boat being used as a ferry and was not licensed to transport people. The people on the boat were reportedly fleeing a cholera outbreak, which has been ongoing since last year. Pray for the families of the deceased. Pray for healing for the sick and injured.
