13Now all has been heard;
    here is the conclusion of the matter:
Fear God and keep his commandments,
    for this is the duty of all mankind.
14For God will bring every deed into judgment,
    including every hidden thing,
    whether it is good or evil.
(Ecclesiastes 12:13-14, NIV)

ECCLESIASTES 11-12

DAY 335: JOURNEY THROUGH THE BIBLE IN A YEAR

Focus Verses For Today: Ecclesiastes 12:13-14

Today, we conclude our journey through the book of Ecclesiastes and finding meaning in life.

Ask the Lord for His understanding of Ecclesiastes 11-12. Read Ecclesiastes 11-12. Let’s journey!

Ecclesiastes 11-12: Life is uncertain. We do not and cannot know how anything will turn out; it is all in God’s hands. Appreciate what we have been given and be thankful for all. Age will not bring meaning and fulfillment to your life. The Lord, and following Him, is all that will bring meaning to life. (Ecclesiastes 11:1-12:14)

Our focus verses for today:

13Now all has been heard;
    here is the conclusion of the matter:
Fear God and keep his commandments,
    for this is the duty of all mankind.
14For God will bring every deed into judgment,
    including every hidden thing,
    whether it is good or evil.
(Ecclesiastes 12:13-14, NIV)

King Solomon examined every avenue of life, searching for a way to bring meaning to life. The conclusion was simple - the only thing a person can do to bring meaning into their life is accept the Lord into their life and continually seek out the Lord’s will. As you have journeyed through this book searching for meaning, reflect back on what message stood out to you? What message weighed on your heart? Consider, why? The Lord wants you to have meaning in your life! Make the changes you have been led to make!
